Overview
The ScholAR Chemical Inventory Database (CID) is a simple, but powerful tool to manage your school's chemical inventory. Highlights include:

Customize Your Data
The ScholAR CID allows you to customize your account details, including locations (building, room, cabinet), grades, measures, hazard codes, suppliers and storage codes. No need to make your inventory fit the CID! Custom data means the site works better for your school or district.
Easily Add Chemicals
The CID has Quick Add functionality, which means as you type a chemical name, the system suggests options for you to choose from, which makes adding chemicals to the system quicker than ever. Once you select a chemical, the system pre-fills most standard data (formula, hazard codes, grades, CAS, etc), so you'll spend less time on data entry and more time being productive.
Quickly Access Important Information
The most important information on each chemical is available right from the inventory page — no need to even leave the page. Information like expiration date, location and MSDS are accessible right from each record. Clicking the magnifying glass next to each chemical name reveals more details, including information like formula, CAS, supplier, grade and hazard code. Quick and easy access, with the edit button just one click away.
Create a Re-order List
Creating a re-order list is as simple as checking the 're-order' box next to the chemicals you need, then clicking the Print Re-orders button. You can even then customize which fields show on your print out or filter the list by location before printing.
View Chemicals By Location
You can also filter your inventory by location, if you want to look at a specific building, room or cabinet. From that inventory view, the ability to edit your chemicals, print re-orders or the location-specific inventory is just a click away.
*Note: We recommend using Mozilla Firefox 2 (or above), Opera 9+, or Internet Explorer 6 (or above). Other browsers such as Safari will work, but may have limited functionality.

Unlimited ScholAR CID access is available for only $39 per year.
Signing up for access is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Purchase access through a ScholAR distributor:
Ward's, Sargent-Welch, Science Kit or Boreal (in Canada). - Fill out the CID sign-up form by clicking the button below. Be sure to include the Access Code you receive via mail from Step 1.
